Term's & Conditions

1. Payment Terms:

EOT’s standard payment terms are Net 30 Days. EOT also accepts MasterCard, Visa and American Express Credit Cards. EOT reserves the right to make other payment terms, such as prepayment in full, on an order by order basis. When payment is made (other than by credit card), payment should be in the form of a check drawn on a bank in the U.S., International Money Order or bank wire transfer. All payments are to be in U.S. Dollars.

2. Shipping Terms Within the U.S.

Almost all shipments made by EOT can be made by parcel carriers (such as UPS or Fed Ex). Shipping costs will be charged to the customer. The customer may specify a particular carrier or have the shipping charges made collect.

3. Shipping Terms Outside the U.S.

All shipping charges, tax, duty, etc. is to be borne by the customer. The customer may specify a carrier (subject to EOT approval).

4. Order Cancellation:

Order cancellations must be approved by EOT. EOT reserves the right to impose an order cancellation fee. For standard products, the cancellation fee is 15% of the sales price. Orders for custom products cannot be cancelled.

5. Returns for Credit:

Any returns for credit must be approved by EOT and can only be made within 30 days after the date of shipment. Goods returned under Return for Credit must be received in their original condition. A restocking fee of 25% of the sales price will apply to all returns, with the exception of returns being made due to nonconformance of the product. Custom products cannot be returned for credit.

6. Nonconformance Claims:

Any nonconformance claim must be made within 30 days after date of shipment. Goods returned under a nonconformance claim must be received in their original condition. If the goods are found to be in nonconformance by EOT, then EOT will issue a credit toward the original invoice (if the original invoice has not been paid) and EOT will re-invoice upon return shipment.

7. Return Material Authorization:

An RMA number must be issued for all returns. The RMA number should be written on the outside of the shipping container. Returns are to be freight prepaid including duties and taxes. If duties and taxes are billed to EOT, EOT will invoice the customer for the charges incurred.

8. Exporting of EOT Products:

EOT products are subject to U.S. Export Control Laws. Do not export EOT products without authorization from the proper U.S. Government authority.

9. Warranty:

Photodetectors

EOT warrants its Photodetectors to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after the date of shipment. Any unauthorized modifications made by the customer to EOT's Photodetectors will render the warranty null and void. If the customer believes there is a problem with their Photodetector, they should immediately contact EOTs Customer Service Department at 231-935-4044 or sales@eotech.com. EOT's customer service department will either issue an RMA for the device or provide technical support to the customer . All returns should reference the RMA No. on the outside of the shipping container and be sent to:

EOT reserves the right to inspect Photodetectors returned under warranty to assess if the problem was caused by a manufacturer defect. If EOT determines the problem is not due to a manufacturer defect (an example would be a photodetector that has a burn mark near the photodiode), repairs will be done at the customers expense.

Faraday Rotator/isolators

EOT warrants it Faraday Rotator/isolators to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year after date of shipment. Any unauthorized modifications made by the customer to EOT's Faraday rotators/isolators will render the warranty null and void. If the customer believes there is a problem with the rotator/isolator, they should immediately contact EOT's Sales/Customer Service department at 231-935-4044 or sales@eotech.com. EOT's customer service department will either issue an RMA for the device or provide technical support to the customer. All returns should reference the RMA No. on the outside of the shipping container and should be sent to:

EOT reserves the right to inspect rotators/isolators returned under warranty to assess if the problem was caused by a manufacturer defect. If EOT determines the problem is not due to a manufacturer defect (an example would be damage to an optical element caused by impact from a loose balldriver or exceeding the damage threshold of the device), repairs will be done at the customers expense. Never attempt to disassemble the magnetic housing of your Faraday rotator/isolator. Injury could result. Any indications that an attempt to disassemble the magnetic housing was made will render the warranty null and void.
